Step-by-Step Instructions:
Accessing the Tool:
- Navigate to the ‘Tools’ menu on Hoeflink.
- Open the crane load calculator from the crane menu.
- If this tool is not visible on your account. Please contact your organizations Hoeflink manager. A subscription is needed.
Inputting Crane Configuration Settings:
1. Main Crane Settings:
- Device model: Ensure the correct crane model is selected.
- Main boom angle: Use the slider to set the boom angle between -5° and 85°.
- Main boom length: Adjust the slider to extend or retract the boom.
- Slewing angle: Set the slewing angle of the crane.
- Counterweight extension: Choose one of the options from the dropdown.
2. Jib Configuration:
- Jib attached: Toggle the switch to indicate whether the jib is attached.
- Jib angle: Use the slider to adjust the jib angle.
- Jib length: Adjust the slider for the desired jib length.
3. Outrigger Configuration:
- Outrigger angles: Set the angle of each outrigger (Front Left, Front Right, Rear Left, Rear Right) using the sliders.
- Outrigger extensions: Input the extended length of each outrigger (in mm). Use 0 mm for retracted position.
- Check the visual diagram to confirm the accuracy of your outrigger settings.
Interpreting the Results:
- Once all settings are input, the tool will calculate the maximum load that can be lifted in the given setup.
- The result will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.
- Example: “The maximum load that can be lifted in this setup is 1500 kg.”
- Review the visual diagrams for clarity:
- Left diagram: Shows the crane's configuration and boom extension.
- Right diagram: Displays outrigger positions and angles.
